The location is convenient with easy access to the beach and water park. The elevators often took too long, causing frustration during check-in. The kids loved the arcade and go-kart track. Could use more dining options on site.

The water park is fun for the kids and has a lot of activities. The room was outdated and not very clean. Staff were friendly but check-in took too long.

The waterpark is a fantastic amenity. The first floor shines with restaurants, an arcade, and go-karts. Ideal location near the boardwalk. room conditions were far from acceptable. We endured outdated facilities, lingering odors, and questionable cleanliness. Limited amenities like toilet paper and a malfunctioning refrigerator added to frustration. Customer service faltered with noise complaints and security issues. Urgently needed improvements must be prioritized. Safety and comfort should always come first. A thorough evaluation of room standards is required. This property has potential. It must be acted upon swiftly and decisively.

The hotel is just a short stroll from the Atlantic City Boardwalk, which is a fantastic place to soak in the beach vibes and visit amazing sites like the Ripley's Believe It or Not and Absecon Lighthouse, both within an easy 10 to 15 minute walk. You can even check out the Korean War Memorial in roughly the same distance and enjoy some delicious dining options at the Atlantic City Eatery or Hard Rock Cafe, all nearby. Plus, the staff here were super friendly and went the extra mile to assist guests, which really added a nice touch to our stay, but the overall hotel amenities could definitely use some improvement.

Room was spacious with a great view of the ocean. Super comfy bed and had nice amenities like a flat-screen TV, microwave, and free toiletries. The fitness center and spa were a plus. Check-in was quick and the staff were friendly. Easy access to the beach and nearby attractions made it a relaxing spot.

The water park was a hit with the kids, and they enjoyed the Go-Kart track. The staff was friendly and always willing to help out.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but it’s still reasonable for a family getaway.

Came for the last-minute availability and was relieved to find the bathroom clean. the hallway rugs were a serious eyesore and the room showed its age—no bottom sheet on the bed, missing remote, and a bathroom that smelled musty. The staff were genuinely friendly and responsive, which was a nice surprise, but it didn’t make up for the broken elevators and slow towel service. The breakfast was unappetizing, and the overall vibe felt outdated. The beach was a nice escape, but I wouldn't recommend this place for a comfortable stay.

Spacious room, spacious amenities with comfortable beds that made for a restful night and a variety of family-friendly activities right within the hotel that kept everyone entertained throughout our stay.
Everything was as expected.

Our experience at Showboat Hotel was nearly flawless. The rooms were exceedingly clean and generously sized, providing a comfortable retreat. Check-in was efficient, setting a positive tone for the stay. a few service shortcomings, such as towel availability, slightly marred the overall enjoyment.

The location on the boardwalk was fantastic, right next to Hard Rock, which was super convenient for me. But there were definitely some downsides to my experience. First off, when I arrived, the room was not up to par. The chairs were dirty, and I had to cover them with towels. The headboards had marks on them, and the room had a musty smell. I had to do my own quick clean-up before settling in. Plus, the bed had metal pieces sticking out, which was a safety hazard. As for amenities, there were some issues. The air conditioning was almost non-existent, and the room was uncomfortably warm. There were no free toiletries provided, and even basic essentials like coffee cups and coffee were missing. I had to keep calling the front desk for supplies, and it took forever to get anything delivered. On top of that, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. The sofa was dirty and stained, and despite mentioning it during check-in, nothing was done about it. The view outside the window was not pleasant, and the room needed a better vacuuming job. In terms of service, there were also letdowns. The staff seemed disinterested, and I had trouble getting through to anyone when I needed assistance. The lack of response to complaints and the overall chaotic atmosphere in the lobby during check-in due to a fight were quite off-putting. The convenient location was a major plus, but the cleanliness, amenities, and service left a lot to be desired. If these issues were addressed, it could really improve the guest experience.

The room was comfy, had a nice bed. The hotel is in a good spot on the strip, close to the amusement park. It was nice having an arcade available, especially for the kids to have fun.
The rooms had upkeep issues, with peeling wallpaper, moldy shower curtains, and poor water pressure. Communication about cleaning services was poor, and towels were hard to come by.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable; my partner slept until 9 a.m., which is unusual for him. The room, however, felt outdated. It lacked a fitted sheet, which disturbed my sleep. The lighting was poor—one bulb was out, making it dark. The walls were thin; noises from neighbors were intrusive. Moisture lingered due to no exhaust in the bathroom. Carpets were stained and the small room odor was off-putting. A microwave would have been a nice addition.

The arcade is a blast, with games for all ages. The waterpark is a fun escape, perfect for family excitement and relaxation.
Communication is a struggle; good luck reaching anyone without going downstairs.

Arriving late, I found my room wasn't ready, and there was no apology from the staff. I ended up with a parking garage view, broken fixtures, and a musty smell.

Our family had a blast at the Island Waterpark, featuring state, of, the, art surf machines and the largest custom aqua forms. The knowledgeable staff shared insider tips on Atlantic City, making our vacation unforgettable and filled with excitement.
My wife says that the hotel should offer a designated family, friendly area at the arcade.

I played in a massive arcade with virtual reality games and glow mini-golf. I sat VIP at a circus while enjoying fluffy cotton candy. I enjoyed the jazz fest with Boney James and a musical light show.
Loved the dusty curtains and folding mattress in my room.

the main floor was very clean and the staff at the front desk were really nice. the hotel is on the boardwalk - nextdoor to hardrock cafe and the ocean resort. self parking available and there are rooms with seaview. arcade and go carts were great, and the prices were much better than the pier. we got some amazing photos and everyone was so kind and joyous.

Our group had a blast hitting up the go-kart center and checking out the island waterpark in Atlantic City! The whole vibe was lit, with rad surf machines and epic aqua forms. The staff were super chill and hooked us up with all the deets for a sick summer vacay!
We would've loved an even bigger dance floor for those wild party nights! .

The Showboat Hotel Atlantic City was the perfect escape for a weekend getaway. The location was ideal, close to all the casinos, restaurants, and the beach. The staff was accommodating, with a warm reception and helpful service throughout our stay. The spacious room with a comfortable queen-size bed and soft towels provided a relaxing haven after a day of exploring. The hotel's variety of amenities, including valet parking and a 60,000-square-foot arcade, added to the overall entertainment experience. Despite some initial hiccups during check-in, the front desk supervisor's quick resolution and upgrade to our rooms made up for the inconvenience, showing great customer service. The Showboat Hotel Atlantic City offered a mix of convenience and comfort, making it a memorable and enjoyable stay.

The property had a lot of fun activities and the rooms had great views. The staff was awesome and the arcade was a nice touch for entertainment during the stay.
The long lines for waterpark tickets and entrance caused chaos. The check-in process was slow and the pool lacked security.

Great location, close to Steel Pier. Helpful and pleasant staff. Enjoyed the evening band and the coffee in the gift shop.
Felt home care, no complaints whatsoever.

My stay at the hotel was quite enjoyable. I especially liked the multiple options for fun, such as the arcade, speed racing, rock climbing, and axe throwing. The drinks were also great. However, the pet policy at the hotel was a bit extreme, with constant barking and even a dog taking a bowel movement in the lobby. Despite this, overall I had a nice experience. I'd recommend this hotel.

I chose Showboat Hotel for its proximity to the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk, and it did not disappoint. The talented team surprised me with their impeccable service and classic Jersey Shore treats like homemade fudge and salt-water taffy, adding a delightful touch to my stay.
Wet bed, sheets, spider webs, clogged shower, insufficient amenities.

As a solo female traveler, I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly and the cleanliness of the room exceeded my expectations. The location was ideal, close to the boardwalk and various attractions. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a bonus, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay. The amenities such as the fitness center, game room, and beach access provided entertainment options. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The only drawback was the outdated decor of the room, but it didn't greatly affect my overall experience.
